TIGHT! This one's from me, and you know I da man, so get downloadin' and feel this one. From an icy, raw, rad, fresh—that's right, Dave, rad—song with a tighter-than-hell guitar riff that I sampled (so don't you go doin' it, too!), this beat goes rhythmically with the guitar and bass riffs that come in later. Definitely check this one out, with nice, clear snare and bass drums that add a good kick to the mix. Can't relate to the words, though, I got to get me the fuck outta' my job…

DESCRIPTION IN PROGRESS - Love Drops? Is my mind in the gutter or is Barry Allen's? Because that sounds kinda' naaastay! NOTE: This loop was previously credited to Barry Mann but I've corrected it thanks to info. from Doug Organ.

Boomy bass and understated snare make this loop a little awkward, but it's funky and very usable nonetheless. If you listen hard to the hi-hat, it's damn funky, too, I wish someone had mixed this gem a little better, because it's a really good break. Recommended by Phatso with no exceptions.

Here's the best beat Shadow ever sampled, and maybe the best beat on this page. SOOPER props and shouts out to Erock for submitting this long, FUNKY-ASS solo, heard in its entirety (slightly chopped) in DJ Shadow's "The Number Song" and elsewhere (Organized Konfusion?). I can't say anything more about this PHAT loop right now, because I'm getting too emotional, got a Kleenex, bro? Is it "Tony Avalon" or "Tony Alvon"? That's What She Said... Okay, that's played-out, I know. This beat sounds like a Mike Clark loop from the Master Drummers v.3 album on Ubiquity, but it's not (duh). Actually, it's almost identical to "God Made Me Funky". Just so you get the vibe… It's also got a really deep, full bass drum that the Master Drummers 3 album sorely lacked. High recommendation on this one from Australia.

A classic breakbeat that's been sampled up the ass. This is the one with the krayzee jingle bells shit that makes you want to grab a ho and get busy...I mean the Santa kind of ho. Although, I do live in Oakland, so hos are easy to cum by... But that would be bad, and then Santa would bring me coal for Christmas. You know, one time when I was a kid, my parents gave me coal for Christmas, because of the stupidest thing: they caught me JUST ONCE with a whore in their bedroom when I was 6. Can you believe how much they overreacted? The nerve... And I couldn't even go to kindergarten all the next week because my dad kept her locked in the basement and he thought that I would tell someone or something. God, parents... Oh yeah, this beat was also submitted to us by Erock, who had NOTHING to do with the sick & bizarre comments I just made about that whore who's in my basement... er, I mean WAS in my basement...(shit!).

Tribal funk from the Buck-Wild Souls! (No, I just made that up.) This is a sooper raw one that I really like, even with the crazy, incessant conga shit. Nice tambourine, nice snare roll-outs and nice off-beat emphasis on the (sort-of) fill at the end. Good, weird one.

This is one of the most groovin' loops ever, it's kinda' got that "Taking of Pelham 1-2-3" vibe that just chugs along and takes you with it whether you wanna' go or not. This one's a serious swinger. This one's cold chillin'. I really don't know what much I can say about it, but I really like it, even though it's kinda' straight for my tastes. Anyone who knows anything about this group: lemme' know! This track is off the "Wired" album by Jeff Beck. This track, however, features Mr. Ed Green bangin' away on them skins in a funky fashion, as I hope you would expect from me by now. This was previously only on the Mystery Drum Loops page, but now it's here, thanks to homey McClellan and his phat collection of McWax. Very nice beat: especially funky and heavily sampled by the big guys. Second verse, same as the first: I am Henry the VIII I am... Well, actually, my real name is Phatso, but you can call me Hank8 (or OctoHank) if you really wanna'. The second half doesn't have that little guitar string-slide sound in it, so it's less distinctive, but you're not gonna' fool anyone into thinking you played it anyway, because if you do, I'm telling, and also, pants on fire hanging on the telephone wire. So there.

I refuse to cut up this beautiful, awesome loop, so I .mp2 compressed it instead. This is one of the best tracks that appeared on the Drum Crazy Series, and it's by far one of the best I've ever heard. Now you can hear it uncut and in its original awesome state, complete with boomy bass, great hi hat, and perfect snare. Comes from drummer Cozy Powell (who also played for Jeff Beck), and from an album prodced by Felix Pappalardi of Cream fame. No wonder it sounds so damn good.

You'll never guess who submitted this one, so I'll just have to tell you. It was his majesty, the almighty Erock, peerless library of beats and knowledge. Okay, okay, I'll get my lips off his ass for a minute and tell you about this here loop. Wrote a song about it, wanna' hear it, here it go! Lemme' tell you a story 'bout a loop named Nassau; 'twas funkier than hell, cymbals cut like a band saw... Now you know why I was kicked out of Pharcyde! Anyway (I can rhyme, really I can!) this is a short, 2-second break with nice cymbal and snare work, fast and to-the-point (but not to-the-counterpoint!). Nice one, thanks E.

I don't know how many £s this one's worth, but it's very snare-happy. I like. A nice, loud snare that seems to be popping in your ear almost every half beat, but it gets away with it because it's so funky and raw sounding, just like many of these beats. You know, I'd like to take this moment to just sit quietly and reflect on how thankful I am to have phat drum loops in my life, each one so unique and funky...(those three periods are me reflecting, by the way). Well, I feel better now, don't you? Check these great, soulful, yet frantically raw, drums and, as always, enjoy.

Jammy hooks us up again with free shit to soothe the soul. This is a great one to use in your mix. It starts out with a really nice simple bass-hat-snare-hat pattern on a great sounding kit, somewhat similar to "Mixed Up Cup", which you probably know is one of the all-time best loops.

Another classic, rare break submitted by Erock this one's hard to come by, and worth the search. Phat bass and tight snare set off this wicked, chill groover with double hi-hat hits. This is one of those ultra-usable beats that you could layer on top of anything and make a hit. If you can't use this beat for good, then you're pure evil, man, pure evil. This beat was featured on Bulldog Breaks, by the way, on a track that was VERY deceptively titled "Kimba Zoo". My ass is like Sherlock Holmes and shit solving that baffling enigma of a puzzle...

Another PHATT, PHATT, PHATT one submitted for free, for you, and for me by Jammy, this has been sampled (I think?) on a Bulldog Breaks track, back before Dan Prothero became too good for sampling and moved on to his new galactic undertakings. I'm just playing, Galactic is an awesome band, you should see them live sometime if you can, that drummer (Stanton Moore) can play! (He's one of my people, the pigmentationally-challenged, by the way.) So, in conclusion: Jammy=good; Stanton Moore=good; This beat=good; John Tesh/David Hasselhoff "Best of Christmas Favorites" collaboration album produced by Leonard Nimoy and engineered by William Shatner=BAD. (No, there is no such album, that is one of the prophetic, biblical signs of Armageddon.)

Submitted by Jammy, so YOU KNOW IT ROCKS! Several people think it's called "N.I.B.", but it's actually "Behind the Wall of Sleep", so now you can rest easy. I've heard this one before on an awesome mixtape a Sureel friend made for me, and now you can hear it, too. This is obviously a rock-band break, with lots of reverb, a nice snare that stands out, and a kinda thin bass drum that sounds awesome amid the unobtrusive rumble and reverb. Very cool, just like all Jammy's loops. Updated 10/1/99.

Nice fast loop with really tight drums and a prominent double-time hi-hat. Starts and ends with a little band hit and bass drop-off. Dope-diddlyumptious. Dana sez the drummer's name is Raymond Genovese.

Here's a really long clip from this intro drum break. The whole thing is way off the meters, with distortion up the kazoo. But it's damn funky, of course. It doesn't loop properly because I didn't want to deprive you of the single snare hit at the beginning, so it's one 8th note off from looping right. I'm sure your Cool-Editing ass can fix that ish though!

More props to Erock for this beat, which is unfortunately just a very small snippet of some funky-ass drumming. This beat is VERY similar to "We're So Happy" by Medeski, Martin & Wood (see below), but it's a fraction of the length, and there's a pretty serious cymbal crash running through the whole beat, so that makes it less of a practical loop, and more of a curio. Feel free to peep the raw New Orleans funk, thanks to Erock and Eddie Bo.

Another ex-mystery beat, upgraded to full non-mysterious status thanks to Mr. McClellan. This is another rock band, pretty much, but this is a nice, different kinda' beat as far as that sorta' shit goes. It's a slow, chugging groover, one might even describe it as slightly lugubrious at times, but then again, one might be very odd and prone to flights of verbal fancy... I don't really like that he hits the bass drum every time he hits the snare (4-on-the-floor), but I guess that's his style, and that's what makes this beat distinctive, so I won't complain. But, as a side note, you might try filtering out some bass from the snare hits to fix it up a little, but you didn't hear that from me. Oh yeah, a Cue list and Playlist are both set-up already for this track in CoolEdit, just go to the Playlist and press "play".

From Jammy comes this nice beat with a good metallic-sounding snare...sorta' pops out at 'cha', like President Clinton... It'll add some nice highs to your mix if that's what your mix be lackin'.

This one's pretty damn phat! Great reverb on the set, and a really appealing live sound to it all. Sounds similar to the way the "S.O.U.L." loop does… highly recommended.

Pretty much exactly the same loop as "Can't You See" by Tower of Power (Dave Garibaldi). So, that said, you know what it sounds like, and you know it fucking rocks.

Beware, this one's a little large (151k), but it's cool and I chopped it up special for your ass, so eat it up and don't complain, there's children starving in Ethiopia, you fat, lazy American consumer! Okay, back to the beat at hand: I chopped it to remove the horns that interrupt the beat, but I recreated it just like it was under the horns so you could hear how phat it was. On the serious tip, please don't use it without my permission, okay? Really nice fill at the end (so don't get bored at around the 6th second and stop it early), and nice chill "Kissing My Love" type drums for the main loop.

Submitted by Jammy, this is off an enigmatic song by the enigmatic David Bromberg, whose music has been described as soul/blues/bluegrass/folk/rock. And the song is about a spineless (literally), seductive female circus freak, my favorite subject... Whoah, someone was smokin' some heavily-controlled substances the night they wrote this one... Anyway, nice bass and snare, if unfortunately obscured by a few too many poorly-placed open hi-hat hits. Check it out, though, it's a good one.

This one is PHAT and crazy, with really nice double-open hi-hat/bass hits at the end (you'll see what I mean). This one's great for choppin' (no, not Chopin, with your classical-music-knowin' ass), so grab a cleaver and get to it! I suggest either Ginsu2000 or CoolEdit, though the latter is preferable for safety reasons.

This is a classic break available now on several comps, but this mix is special (just like me). It's chopped up so that the bicycle horn ain't there no more. Why? Because I didn't like it. I woulda' posted the original, but I don't have it handy, and I'm too damn lazy to go dig up UBB and redo it. Tight beat, though. Nice offbeat accents with the cowbell.

This one's hard. A very funky drum solo, this is just a part, but definitely go grab a record with this track on it. This drummer can blow...I mean, he doesn't really blow, but he does that other stuff that drummers do, um, hitting and stuff…solo follows…

Here's a long one that kind of starts out with some light percussion and builds. It's interesting, though, with a cowbell and some rhythmically different drums. Not your standard drum loop, more of a curio from Hungary.

This is the song that was recently butchered for "He Got Game" by Pubic Enema or someone...I forget. You can hear the guitar harmonics a little due to track bleed-through, but this is a nice little slice of whitey funk that could easily add some pizzazz to your pie, if you're into pizzazz, that is...or pie.

This one's kinda' noisy (that's what happens when you buy at the flea market), but who the fuck cares? Not too much to say here. It's a nice beat, though, with a cool fill at the end. :)

Here's another clip of this track, from Philip Davis, this one's off a 12" record called JB's 40th Anniversary. I suspect that it's the same as the one above, except it's slowed down so it really sounds awesome. So, perhaps 'twas redundant of me to put both here, but hey, whoever said that being redundant was a crime? Who ever said that being redundant was a crime? Who ever said that...

Courtesy of Erock, this beat is dope, man real dope, on the real. Well anyway, I said "toot toot" she said "hey beep beep". Don't know where that came from, but anyway... This beat sounds VERY similar to the "Think" break by Lyn Collins, but it's not. Rhythmically, it's virtually identical, but it don't got no crazy screaming in the background. This one's the bonus break from the remix, according to Erock, but I don't know which remix he means, being so vastly inferior to him in collectinghood. Check this one for sure, you'll leave with a smile. Don't forget to drop Erock a line and thank him for all this free dope shit!

Erock strikes again, this time with an exclusive, chopped beat from JB sideman, Bobby Byrd. I have this song myself, and I don't know how Erock cut out all the guitar like that, but I'm glad he did. This remix sets the drums free to breathe on their own after decades of being trapped behind the virtual bars that were a guitar loop! The guitar loop, actually, is pretty phat, too, but you know me: I've got a thing about drums...

Submitted by Erock, this beat features a killer hi-hat that could hold the whole 4.284 seconds together on its own if it wanted to, and a high bass that kicks with the best of 'em. A couple measures here, and a good selection of stuff to chop and remix: in short, a great beat. Erock for president!

I cut this one a bit, but I didn't change the rhythm of it, just cut out some instrumentation or something. So, here's one that's gonna' need more chopping anyway to get rid of the loud, monosyllabic gruntings of Mr. Campbell. Starts out with a nice fill, goes into a nice loop with clapping (and aforementioned monosyllabia), and pretty much makes you think to yourself, "Self, what the fuck is 'Campbell Lock' supposed to mean?" Don't ask me, I just work here…

It's catchy and funky, and, by the way, I don't recommend tapping beats on other people, I learned that the hard way last night and ended up in a damp alley with nothing on me but a garbage can lid and some cabbage. :)

From Dave's Records comes this real short, but funky one from a movie that sounds pretty damn funky itself. Ya' see, it's the touching (and poignant) story of a young kid (God, played by Ralph Macchio), who has to decide between saving the world or running with a biker gang (played by the New Kids on the Block). In the end, as we know, humanity is saved, and Ralph Macchio is crucified, which just goes to show you: maybe he should have chosen the biker gang instead. (Yeah yeah, I know, I'm goin' to Hell...) But seriouosly, Erik Estrada is in this movie…all the more reason to skip it and just get the soundtrack!

Just a simple bass and snare loop, but sounds mighty tasty! Highly recommended by Dave's Records, so you know it's dope!

This Part is just a nice, loud Shaft kinda hi-hat, with some nice, deep congas over it. This would be a nice addition to many other drumbeats, if you want some more percussion isht in the mix. There's an intro-fill into the next Part at the very end, so you may want to download both parts if you want ALL the pieces from Part 2, even if you're not interested in Part 1. Confused? Good, me too.

Like "Cookies", here's a good example of a very nice drumbreak that has the drums mixed waay too low and the congas (they're cool, don't get me wrong) mixed way-the-fuck too loud, completely drowning out the funky drums except for the hi-hat. I don't know what to say, it brings tears to my eyes, skillet. Oh, my bad, I forgot I was fixin' some chopped onions (my favorite poverty main dish) for dinner (I'm on a tight budget, and onions were on sale today). Yumm, nothin' like fresh-chopped raw onions, lightly salted, with a dash of onion skin. And I'm living in half a soggy refrigerator box in someone's dumpster, I hope the garbage men don't come again tomorrow morning...that hurt last time. :)

A swing beat, with just shakers, bass drum, and hi hat. Nice weird finger-chime sounding thing makes it really unique and possibly a nice addition to a track.

Just a weird little percussion break from a Chicago album. It features a shaker, a clave, and maybe a guiro? Just real short...kinda unique, though, so it caught my ear.

This one's got some of that funky bongo action, too, but this one is probably the least annoying of all the bongo grooves. In fact, you may not even notice them at all. I like this beat, though, and since I'm such a nice guy, and since I'm so funky-to-the-core, I even threw in a nice little fill at the end for you. Now you can have your fill and eat it, too.

A nice little snare fill introduces this one, then a single ride hit lets you know it's about to drop. A fast, hot little loop, almost exactly like a faster version of Jimmy McGriff's "The Worm".

Davisk strikes again, this time with an extremely slow, bassy loop that sneaks in a little bass guitar in the end (I know, I'm slippin' here). Anyway, this is a really nice loop with lotsa' bass, some ultra-quiet bongos, and a totally chilled-out vibe.

Take a Coffey Break, another one with bongos-a-plenty. But this one has weird bongos, so at least it's a little different, and a nice intro fill, too. As you would imagine, it's somewhat similar to Scorpio, but it's inferior, because it's just the Son Of... It's hard to compare to Scorpio, though, you will be pleased with this one. Updated 11-27-99 to include the whole 28-second break!

Slow with nice tambourine and bass drum. It's a goddamn duck-billed phat-a-pus! I think it's actually "(Runaway) I Wouldn't Change A Thing", but I put the second half in parentheses instead so it would alphabetize better.

Majorly chopped, you can still hear the remnants of the "OOF"s on each major snare hit, but it gives it a nice unique sound, though it's clear that it has been edited. Tough shit, though home run, because you'll download it and like it! There are children starving for breakbeats in Ethiopia, so eat up!

Jammy sent me this Rolling Stones cover track, performed by the one and only Collection (didn't it sound like I knew who they were there? I don't). No cowbell in this mix, but a nice, prominent, metallic hi-hat and un-trebly, solid bass and snare hits. A good straight, normal beat for those of you who are into that; and a good crazy, swingy beat for those of you who are deaf.

We all know this track, right? Well, here's just the very, very unique tambourine loop from the middle.

Jammy, Jammy, Jammy, where fore are't thou Jammy? Thou are't but an electronic acquiantance, a mere blip on the computer screen of life, yet you bring me such joy, such glee... God DAMN, you know what that means: getting sleepy! Well, I'll stick it out and perservere with the obligatory description: fast, very quiet, recorded a little hot, and with a nice low-tom fill at the end, unlike any I've heard before. Nice double-time hi-hat and one open hit, in case you're searching for one to use. That just about does it, then, see what you think, and I'll go get some ravioli and listen to some tunes.

This one's got some instrumentation over it, which is unlike the standard fare around here, but there's some tight drum shit goin' on here that I just had to share with y'all. A syncopated, Clyde Stubblefield sorta' beat here keeps the groove in between a nice guitar hit and some "UH!"s from Mr. Colt. Check Part 2 below for some great excerpts from later on in the song!

Here's a selection of drum clips from later on in the song, spliced together in my usual, seamless manner! :) Nice Steve Colt-isms in the background, and the same funky-ass drums as Part 1, but with more variety, a nice fill that I think I mighta' cut up to make, and twice the length. Great tune.

The first half of this long break is a funky "Na Na Na Na"-sounding beat, very heavy, and with people screaming "Ho!" on the first beat of every measure (kind of annoying, but definitely funky). I like it a lot. The second half of this beat still has the "Ho"s every measure but is a lot more interesting and syncopated, kind of like a DJ Shadow remix of the first half. And there's a great, totally ahead-of-tempo 1-2-3-4 countdown at the end that just emphasizes how excited these people were when they recorded this: so much so that they had to scream "Ho" about 50 times and then mess up the end of a cool drum break because they just couldn't wait to get to that next measure!! :)

This is probably my favorite beat in this batch [originally posted 9-24-98] next to "New Heavenly Blue". The drums just sound awesome, that's the main thing. The beat isn't that innovative or something, but the drums just ring when homeboy hits 'em, and it makes me happy, man, happy: Happy to be an American, happy to be alive, and happy to have CoolEdit! If only Hitler could have heard this beat one time so long ago, perhaps we never would have had to sit through "Schindler's List"…

Here's the second funky break from the Ruth Copeland album, not alphabetically, but in the order I posted them. This one's nice, especially with the CUEd playlist that's setup in CoolEdit. It's like the opening drums in "Fortunate Son" by Credence, but without the bass playing over them. Very simple, with a nice fill that you could use elsewhere easily, and the kind of drums that are perfect for chopping or using as a basis for layering other samples.

This is one I heard about from raremusic.com, who always managed to come up with the obscure, choice funky shit. You'd never have guessed from their name, though, huh? Well, this is a break on a folky track off a folky album. I was hoping it would be a lot funkier, since Parliament was supposed to be doing backup, but it's fairly un-funky, as these things go. A very nice drumbeat, though, worth buying the CD for alone. The second half has a little muted guitar fuckin' 'round in the back, but it's mellow and unobtrusive, so I ain't e'en 'bout to complain. Plus there's a tight-ass fill at the end, very simple, but I love this fill, and all others like it. Simple, yet funky. As the world should be, am I wrong? Nice one, thanks Raremusic! Now if I could just get you to sell me your copy of "Who Got The Number" by B.Y. & The Turnettes…

This one was suggested by Erock. This one's a nice fast groover that makes you wanna' get up and scream, "I'm Black and I'm Proud!" But you probably shouldn't do that. You're not black... To paraphrase the words of Erock, "...like 'Tighten Up'; this one's basically a version of this song with organ instead of vocals. (Dyke & the Blazers also do a version of 'Tighten Up' with a breakbeat)." There ya' go, beat mining tips and 411 from a guy who knows his shit.

Here's one I ain't heard of before, thanks to Drusca, the patna'-man! A little fast one here, snare-wise, with a metronome-like hi-hat that keeps the shit chugging along and sets off the snare work nicely. Check Part 2 below for more...

Part 2 of this Drusca-submission is similar to Part 1, but without the fancy snarework. It's just a simpler, more standard loop, so in case you liked the drum-sounds in Part 1, check this one and throw 'em together for pure percussion ecstacy! (?)

This loop is nice! Great sounding drums with a chill bongo/conga loop over it. Nice bass, snare, hi-hat…it's all nice!

This track is really noisy, since it was recorded live at a concert, but it's one of my favorite drum loops anyway. The ride cymbal is mellow and just keeps it all moving, while James Gordon (the drumma man) throws in some really effective open hi-hat hits to keep it fresh. Very funky, and if you clean it up a little, it'll kick major ass. Tips: layer a nice bass drum hit over all the current ones, EQ out some of the mud, and add some treble.

This is often mistakenly credited as the beat from the 45-SINGLE version of "Funky Worm". However, many beatheads suspect that Westbound Records just spliced this beat onto the beginning of this song from "You're Getting a Little Too Smart" by the Detroit Emeralds (from the ALBUM version (not the single) of that song, also on Westbound). (YES, it's confusing.) If you listen to the Detroit Emeralds track, you can hear that the drums stay the same and sound indentical throughout the entire track… In any case, this is one of those "gotta' have it" beats that you hear everywhere constantly and never get sick of. If this beat were any funkier and phatter, they'd have to re-name it Dom DeLouise. Hardcore bass, hi-hat, and snare, all you could ever ask for in a drum loop. Another beat you gotta' get on wax or CD. If not, go to your room and sit in the corner until you decide to buy it! Anyone care to donate a copy of the "You're Getting A Little Too Smart" album? Please...?

Is it "Hit And Miss" or "Hit Or Miss"? Do you care? I'm just curious, so if you know, share the wealth, homey. This is another one that's fully CUEd for CoolEdit, with an intro fill and a couple parts up in 'nere. It's got that funky bongo action goin', that seems to be the trend with this batch of breaks, but who are you to complain? They're all free! So, I'm not all that hot on this one, but it is nice, as are almost all drums. I kinda' wish I had sampled the crazy "la la la la" part that comes in after the drums, that's the best part of the whole song: totally retarded. :)

PHAT PHAT PHAT!!!! If you ever see this album for sale, grab it. This bass drum is like buttah! It's lower than a midget in the Grand Canyon… it's deeper than…well, it's deeper than a midget in the Grand Canyon as well. :) Definitely download this one, and check the double-time hi-hat on this slow, deliberate groover. Very noisy thanks to the flea market, but I ain't complainin'.

Here's a classic break courtesy of Leo Morris, A.K.A Idris Muhammad. Seems like this cat played on every single Blue Note album between 1967 and 1971, and that's good news, because Idris is largely the key to why those albums are all so damn funky. This track features the man working out on the set in a nice syncopated beat, with a nice live room sound (it was recorded live at the Cadillac Club). You just can't fade Idris, so I gave you three whopping clips and a phat solo break. See below for lots more.

There's a few pieces cut together here that I thought you'd like. Check this album, though, for some classic Idris Muhammad riffs (and classic Lou Donaldson as well).

Basically, this is a pretty hoopty drumbeat. Don't take me wrong, it has been sampled a lot and sounded cool, but as it is, it's kinda'...well, different. It's one of a kind, though, that's for sure, ain't no other beat like it. It kinda' takes that "Theme From The Planets" snare drum shit and just rolls with it...literally. I can't diss Idris, though, he 'da man, and this is a tight beat, I'm just fuckin' around. I think it sounds really good in lo-res, better than the original sounds, but here's the hi-res, by popular demand.

IDRIS! Moving along through Lou Donaldson's musical safari of funky wildlife, we come now to the petting zoo, where you'll find the funkiest turtle you ever saw. It's whole job is just to sit there all day and let little motherfuckers climb all over it like jack-asses. Same thing with this beat, except instead of letting little motherfuckers climb all over it like jack-asses, it fucks like a mother and jacks asses, baby, yeah! Man, am I weird, I even surprise myself with this shit sometimes... Anyway, this is a fast beat with LOTS of snare and tom hits scrunched into a small space, puntuated by a couple bass drum hits from a bass drum that sounds like it is being mic'd by a Sony My-First-Walkman Microphone or something...Fisher Price maybe. The second half of the beat has lots more accents and creativity, but, at its core, based on the same basic underlying rhythmic principles upon which the prior was based. I like this one more, but it's too busy to use for a main loop over and over, unless you're a mother-fucking, ass-jacking, funky giant sea turtle or something.

"Dyke" is a derogatory term, and I don't EVER want to hear you use it again! Instead, try, lesbo, butch, carpet-licker... Um, I'll just move along before I get arrested or something...Okay, nice tight drums here, with a pingy sound (you ever try describing 200 drum loops before, it's hard to be original after awhile!), and fast. You'll probably want to slow these down a bit if you're gonna' use them for anything (which you should), but they're nice as they are.
